Riley's Fish Shack

A stone throw away from Sunderland is a little town called Tynemouth. Hidden away in King Edwards bay, is a fish bar called Riley's Fish Shack. Converted from two shipping containers Riley's Fish Shack serves amazing locally sourced food.

Lifestyle | Wartime Tea at Katies Garden

I feel like a giant muffin the amount of cake and scones I've eaten lately. But this place trumps them all. I've been wanting to try Katies Garden for a while now and what better excuse than to celebrate, one of my good uni friends getting their first teaching post! Congratulations Natalie!

Lifestyle | Why I've been MIA..

Hello!

It's been a long time since I last posted as the past few month have been crazy busy!
So I thought what better way to get back in to blogging than to do a 'LIFE UPDATE' post...

Okay so I think the last time I posted was a few weeks before the dreaded dissertation was due in.

Lifestyle | London

Recently I visted London for the first time. Having lived in England for my whole 20 - almost 21 years of life and I've never visted the capital of my country is shameful. However that all changed two weeks ago as I boarded a National Express bus and traveled 8 painfully long hours to London.

The Breakfast Club

After seeing Justsaygem's post about the breakfast club (You can find that here), I knew that I would have to visit on my upcoming trip to London. It looked pretty unbelievable. There are quite a few of them dotted about various places in London, but we decided to go to the one in Canary Wharf as we thought it would be less busy than the ones further in central London - we were right!

Lifes a beach

I'm very lucky to live on the coast and I don't feel I visit the beach as much as I should.
So last Sunday I decided to drive me and my Grandad down for a short walk (which turned in to a 2 hour hike) before our Sunday dinner.
